Ingredients.

1 pound of fresh seafood (can use a combination of fish, crab, shrimp, and other shellfish)

2 cups of diced vegetables (such as onions, tomatoes, and bell peppers)

2 tablespoons of vegetable oil

1 teaspoon of garlic paste

1 teaspoon of ginger paste

1 teaspoon of chili powder

1 teaspoon of cumin powder

1 teaspoon of coriander powder

1 teaspoon of turmeric powder

1 teaspoon of paprika powder

Salt to taste

4 cups of water

Fresh cilantro leaves for garnish


Directions.

Clean and prepare the seafood by removing any shells or bones and cutting into bite-sized pieces. In a large pot, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat. Add the diced vegetables, garlic paste, and ginger paste, and sauté for 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are softened. Add the seafood to the pot and cook for another 2-3 minutes. Add all of the spices (chili powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, and paprika powder) to the pot and stir well to combine. Add 4 cups of water to the pot and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat to low and let the soup simmer for 20-25 minutes until the seafood is fully cooked and the soup has thickened slightly. Season the soup with salt to taste. Serve hot and garnish with fresh cilantro leaves.
