Basic tomato sauce recipe from Central Rwanda

Ingredients 
7 large ripe tomatoes chopped 
1/4 cup white vinegar 
1 tablespoon white sugar 
2 teaspoons grated ginger 
3 cloves garlic minced 
1 teaspoon allspice 

Directions 
Add all ingredients together and simmer 30 minutes, stirring constantly. Slowly pour sauce into a 2-quart jar. Allow cooling on the counter.
