Egyptian Lentils and Bulgur Wheat Recipe Ingredients and Directions Ingredients 2 cups quick-cooking bulgur wheat 1 cup yellow lentils 1 cup dried chopped dates 2 medium white chopped onions 1 teaspoon ground black pepper 1 teaspoon ground ginger 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon 2 tablespoons vegetable oil 3 cups vegetable stock Directions In a large pot over high heat, add oil, spices and brown onions until slightly soft. Africa is surrounded by water but by definition Africa is not an island because Africa is a continent. Continents can not be considered islands because of their size and also by historic definition since many people who study geography define islands and continents as two different things.
