Prep time: 20 min Cook time: 35 min Total time: 55 min Traditional South African Potato Pudding Recipe Ingredients 3 high-starch potatoes such as Russets peeled and diced 4 large eggs ¾ cup sugar 1 cup whole milk ½ cup butter 1 teaspoon nutmeg ½ teaspoon salt 2 teaspoons vanilla Directions Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 1 1/2-quart baking dish. In a large pot boil the potatoes, then mash. Add milk, butter, sugar and spices. In a separate bowl whisk eggs and add 1 tablespoon of potato mixture, whisk again then add eggs to potato mixture. Transfer to the baking dish, bake until light brown about 35 minutes.

Africa is surrounded by water but by definition Africa is not an island because Africa is a continent. Continents can not be considered islands because of their size and also by historic definition since many people who study geography define islands and continents as two different things.
