Easy South African corn soup recipe is made with onions, cabbage, potatoes, hot peppers, corn and curry spice.

1 large package frozen whole kernel corn
½ head cabbage shredded
1 white onion chopped finely
1 medium sized potato, diced small
1 teaspoon curry powder
1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
Salt and pepper to taste
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 cup vegetable broth

In a large frying pan add oil and corn, sauté 4 minutes. Add remaining ingredients mix well, cover and simmer 15 minutes stirring occasionally. Serve over rice or as a soup dish.
