Goat Milk Couscous Porridge recipe is a delicious substitute to oatmeal in the morning and a fantastic way to add milk to your diet if you are lactose intolerant. Goat milk is similar nutritionally to cow milk, but goat milk has smaller fat globules and is easier for people to digest who are lactose intolerant. Milk from goats contributes around 13 percent of milk consumed in sub-Saharan Africa.

Goat Milk Couscous Porridge Recipe

1 cup plain dry couscous
1 cup water
1 cup goat milk
Sugar or honey to taste

In a medium saucepan over medium-high heat stir in water and couscous. Cover; simmer until liquid is absorbed, about 5 minutes. Fluff with fork; Remove the pot from the heat and sweeten with sugar, add goat milk, stir and serve warm.
