Sogoma Cashew Butter Recipe

Cashew trees flourish on African soil. Sogoma toasted cashew butter recipe is an easy to make African recipe. Creamy Cashew Butter can be used in place of peanut butter in almost any recipe.

Africa is the center of the cashew world; Cote d'ivoire (former Ivory Coast), Nigeria and Guinea-Bissau are the largest cashew producers on the African continent. Cote d'ivoire produces 20 percent of the world's raw cashews. 

Sogoma Cashew Butter Recipe

1 cup raw cashew nuts
3 tablespoons palm oil or vegetable oil
1/2 teaspoon salt


Add 1 tablespoon oil to heated frying pan add ingredients mix well and lightly toast. In a food processor, grind ingredients until smooth. Store cashew butter as you would peanut butter.
