Meatless Korma Gravy Recipe

1 medium white minced onion
2 teaspoons ginger
1 teaspoon turmeric
1 crushed garlic clove
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon red pepper (optional)
½ ground cumin
½ ground coriander
½ cup coconut milk
1 cup buttermilk
1 tablespoon olive oil

Directions:

Sauté the onion and garlic in olive oil; add to it the spices and mix in the coconut and buttermilk. Simmer until thick 15- 20 minutes. Serve over vegetables or meat if you choose to, this gravy is especially good with lamb.
