The significance of education is obvious. Learning is the key that unlocks the awareness of putting potential to society’s greatest advantage. An educated mind is the greatest defense against the pollution of recklessness towards the innocent and towards self. Next in importance to freedom and justice is education, without which neither freedom nor justice can be permanently maintained. The African Gourmet’s African educational charity gives 10% net profit of each book sold and 100% of each donation made to A.I.D.S./H.I.V. education and survivors of sexual abuse trainings throughout Africa.
